Singapore was great again ..see all the changes and all the new things of shopping and building and what not …
i love it for the multi cultural food experience you can have authentic pork knuckle with sauer kraut and dumplings from paulaner restaurant ( klaus ) or you have chinese food or indian or you name it and there s a place for it,amazing a shopping mall we saw some high class items such as strawberries 12 pcs from japan for 50 us dollars …we went also to china down and see whats the different between kuala lumpur to singapore is ..well its the same everywhere its too busy with people and the offerings are similar to kuala lumpur .
see below some pictures i have taken during my visit. yummy …

The other Day I been in Kl down and had some time so I stopped by the Hotel equatorial and saw Chef Jochen Kern for a Coffee to get the latest in down he is always good for a small talk and has the newest things in the city. After a short while his Pastry Chef also joined us and we talked for a while. Jochen is now in August already 4 Years in down and he considers a move. Well there are not many places in Asia where Jochen has not been yet ..that’s for sure ..I am sure he makes his move and hope to see him still around for a long while as he is really a character in the Hotel Industry.

1 year in BORACAY SHANGRI-LA was nice I must say ..got there after just 1 week before the Hotel opened since the previous pastry chef was a bit naughty.
I quickly filled in and saw that I have a great team what I full of spirit and full of joy! The skills where there but needed to be polished and so we did. Opening after another one and challenges with purchasing and payments and and… –of course we where not that full ever and that meant that the service charge was not that high and it was difficult to keep the spirit up and bring all needed standards into this very new property on that island. I saw many bosses leaving some left on their own some where told to leave from stewarding up to Gm position all was changed so I was pretty much alone after 10 months in the hotel when I looked up the ranks ..all changed and gone …
However I must say after I left now all I see is the good things there the fun the food the weather and plenty Typhoons and storms and all fun there.
I do miss my children ( my staff ) as I had a very good relationship with each of them…Life goes on and my next stop is Singapore I just hope I meet some of them again and have good talk about the old times ,….
ONCE AGAIN THX TO ALL I HAD A GREAT TIME THERE ….
